I Earn More Than You

Affiliate marketing can be a great way to make money, but there are a lot of people making mistakes with it. I am going to give you some basic advice to help you get started.

DO

* Know the product you are selling inside out

* Be honest about any flaws

* Tell people the price and why it’s worth it

* Comment on who will benefit most

* Advertise it on an appropriate site

DONT

* Make it sound impossibly good

* Lie – about anything

* Claim to use a product yourself if you do not

* Advertise a program about poker on a site for horses, etc.

* Pay more on ads than you are making

The best affiliate program in my experience is ClickBank – I’ve earned around $600 this month with only a few days of effort. There are others, but it is the biggest and gives you the most products to affiliatize yourself with.

My final word of warning; do not try to be an affiliate for any “make money online” type of products, the market is so crowded that your ads will cost more money than you are making and you will end up poorer than when you started.
