GPT HQ, a new user friendly “get paid to” website is due to launch sometime in October, according to a press release issued earlier today.

We have been able to secure an interview with the site’s developer, Gemma Pellen, who has agreed to answer some of our questions. For the following transcript “Gemma” refers to Gemma, of course, while “Admin” refers to me.

Admin: First off, what made you want to create a GPT site? I mean, there are literally hundreds, if not thousands, already out there.

Gemma: There are thousands, definitely; but that is the case with almost every type of website, especially those in the money making niche. As someone who has used around two dozen GPT sites in the past few years I have to say I’ve been amazed at how little they actually offer their users. Take Cash Crate for example; even with 6 referrals I couldn’t hit the $10 mark I needed to get paid. That’s just ridiculous. I wanted to make a site people could actually use to make money online for free, because that is what people want.

Admin: So your website, GPT HQ, is it going to offer a lower payout than $10?

Gemma: Oh, definitely – right now we are still deciding on the final details but we know that we want users to feel like they can make money online right away, so we will either have no minimum payout or a $1 or $2 minimum – but we are also going to have enough offers available to users that they can make $10 the day they sign up; making money online feels good, and we genuinely want that for our members.

Admin: Will you be using a referral system like a lot of the other big GPT sites?

Gemma: We will, but it wont be what you’d expect. There will be the standard option to refer friends and get a percentage of their earnings for life, although unlike certain other GPT websites users wont be forced into doing that – they will be able to make plenty of money without it. However we’re also going to be offering a rewards system for those who do want to refer others to join up with the program.

Admin: Yes, I heard that you plan to give out prizes. Can you elaborate on that?

Gemma: Certainly. We want to reward members who recruit new users by giving them presents, effectively. There are no set numbers or prizes yet, although we know for each gift there will be the choice of taking a prepaid Visa card instead for the value of the item, so for example if you refer 20 users you might get a $50 gift card or a video game of your choice, or if you refer 200 members you could get a prepaid card or a Nintendo Wii.

Admin: And that is on top of the regular GPT earnings? Are you charging members any fees at all?

Gemma: That is on top, yes – and no; zero fees, we want to help people make money, not take it away from them.

Admin: How do you plan on paying your members?

Gemma: Well, there will be a few choices available; people who use PayPal can get paid that way, people who don’t can choose a prepaid Visa card and we will be offering the option of us purchasing an item you want online and deducting the cost from your GPT HQ balance.

Admin: Sounds like a really good way to make money online. Personally I think I might just go for that free Nintendo Wii! Anything else you’d like to add before we wrap this up?

Gemma: Yes, just to clarify, GPT HQ will be a totally free way to make money online, the prizes we give out will be on top of your earnings and we will be accepting members from all over the world.
