The Auto Blog Guide overall is a good book. But it doesn’t address how to go about getting traffic. Nobody is going to find your blog no matter how much content is on it if the blog is not indexed for decent keywords for your niche.
You should add another chapter in the book regarding SEO and getting traffic to your blog or you will not get any money from it. You have to promote every site and blog you create to make any income. Otherwise it is invisible and pointless.
Thanks for the comment Ranjit, but it isn’t my book – it is just a product I consider highly valuable to newbies as I have had a lot of success with it myself. Personally I performed no SEO whatsoever; I did zero promotion – but thanks to my blogs constantly updating themselves they do get good traffic, and I do make money. Provided you add enough feeds to your blog it will be successful; I’d advise you to keep trying, because this really is the easiest way to make money online.
Also – if I ever find an ebook for a reasonable price on SEO and promotion I will be sure to let my readers know about it; but until then I can’t in good conscience suggest anyone go out and spend $25 or more on something that may or may not help them.
If you simply do not understand any of the guide you can contact the author via her website; I’m sure she’d be happy to answer any questions you have. If you can’t make money with an auto blog this may not be the right field for you.
