Making money online is not nearly as difficult as motivating yourself to make money online.

The trick is to have some reasonable, small goals laid out for yourself; achieving them will make you feel good and give you a buzz – which will further motivate you to continue in your efforts to find work at home.

Personally my first goal was to make $300 and buy myself a PSP – something I did within a month of starting out; I also raised enough money to buy 3 games and a memory card, before returning to the store to buy another 4 games. I was also able to pay for a trip to visit my family interstate for a week; keep in mind that up until I started making money online I was supporting two people with benefits of only $350 a fortnight – that included all our bills, food and cigarettes.

Whether or not you approve of smoking, I can now afford to spend $300 per week on smokes for each of us, as well as being able to order a pizza whenever I feel like it. This past weekend I ordered $200 of alcohol so that we could have our own in house mini vacation; eating, drinking, smoking and watching DVDs.

What motivates me above and beyond anything else is that I can now make sure there is always food in a fridge that used to be empty for 2 or 3 days of every week. When my partner’s graphics card melted because his fan was having problems I was able to buy him a new one. When his birthday rolls around this year I know that I can afford to buy him a whole bunch of neat presents rather than just managing to scrape $40 together for a new keyboard.

When it comes to making money online the possibilities are endless – today alone I made $160 on top of my regular money just because I decided, “My savings account could use a top up – I think I will work for two hours.” – So I did. I sat here and put two hours work in and made the extra money that I wanted while working from home. It is a good feeling.

To make money online you don’t have to be a genius, you don’t need perfect English – you don’t even to have broadband internet; you just need to have the motivation.
